ever since the “Cars” folder modded cars broke, ive missed a fair few of them. Currently, I’m in the process to revive them and make the bodies as KNPP chassis so they work again!
i am taking requests for cars!! if the objects say that they are made through the old unity version, i will not be remaking those bodies, and will let you know so.
includes the KNPP body, original objects, and a car preset (.kncp2 file) with all the objects placed, knpps equipped, and a basic stock(ish) tune
How to install?
These cars used to be made through the “Cars” folder as stated below, yet used objects for interiors and other accessories because they lagged less.
The purpose of this project is to KNPP them so the “Cars” folder won’t really have to be used anymore
To install, put on the KNPP parts (chassis and interior) and you can either apply each object by hand through the object file put in the folder, OR…
you can use a preset!
to use a preset, go to the CarX preset tab. press the “Overwrite from file” button and it will bring up kino!
click the car you want to have the preset for
this will load all of the objects, and a tune that gives the car close to stock fitment as a base for you to use.
some cars have toggleable parts! you can go into the object menu and toggle these on and off.
for painting objects, copy from body color and if you are not using a chameleon color, copy the base color, click “unlock secondary color”, and move around the slider until it looks paint matched.

Issues warning
Almost nothing works in these cars except the fact that they exist and have liveries. There is no working gauges, wheels, seat knpps, shifters, handbrakes, etc… the driver even sits in the wrong spots lol. better to just keep the roots all the way off.
considering the nature of how these cars were made, it really wasn’t possible to have these features so i just removed the roots and didn’t try to fix them, especially when I don’t have the original models for some of these features.
so yeah. be warned. they have many many problems that really can’t be fixed now unless theyre made into KNPP cars… which likely wont be happening due to the fact that one of the biggest creators isnt in the community anymore.
I know about most of the issues in the cars. If you think there’s an issue that i could fix, contact me! what i cannot fix is issues regarding objects. weird lights, clipping objects, stuff like that i cannot fix and I’m sorry for the issues
